If something comes up, here’s where it goes.
Four situations. You will hit at least one of them eventually, so it’s worth knowing now rather than working it out under pressure.
Anyone can call “T for Timeout” with a hand gesture. It stops the action and is not a judgment of anyone. The facilitator names what happened in one sentence and hands the floor back. Nothing follows from it.
Take it to them, not around them. That’s Container Goal 10 — repair with intention. If it isn’t safe or possible to go direct, or you’ve tried and it continued, it goes to a steward.
Naming has two parts: you say it to the person, and you tell a steward you said it. Telling a steward starts nothing on its own — it’s a timestamp. Raising a concern in good faith is protected, and being wrong is not a violation.
Can’t make an event, want to bring a guest, question about billing, need to pause your membership — all of that is a normal message, not a process.
Steward 1 — Name
One line saying who they are, so a new member knows who to approach.
Steward 2 — Name
One line saying who they are.
Private contact: placeholder — an address or form for reaching a steward privately.
Concerns about a steward: placeholder — where that goes instead.
Three blanks, and the flow can’t go live without them: who the stewards are (named, or described so a new member knows who to approach), how someone reaches them privately (an address, a form, two names), and where a concern about a steward goes. Right now this all travels by word of mouth, which fails exactly the person who most needs it.
